SIGHT

Want to know something I love about being a wife and a mother?

My Ryan and Olivia so often see what I don’t. Whenever my glass is more than half empty, theirs never fail to be overwhelmingly full.

I know it’s her age, but I love this about her – Olivia’s sight is set on the grandeur of this world. She sees equal value in the pebble and the pearl. In her pure eyes, no person and no thing could ever fall short of amazing.

Ryan sees the same, even with his older eyes, which impresses me so very much. Never noticing what’s wrong in someone or a situation, his positive sight is refreshing.

So easy to please and happy with it all, those two have grateful eyes and they’re teaching me how to see. I’m on their team for that reason, I know it – those two are giving me sight.
