Confession: I like real, good food – both for myself and for my little family – because there’s a link, I’ve found, between eating well and being happy.
My last few years as a college student, a wife, and a mother, have helped (if not forced) me to find and make food that is real good – the tasty+easy+inexpensive+healthy kind of stuff. And since good food should ever be enjoyed (and some have recently asked me about food tips+tricks), I’m excited to start sharing “Real Good Food” tutorials every Friday. I’ll be dishing up the how-to’s via a single, simple photo because, truly, it doesn’t take much to make real good food!
First up on the menu: The Peanut Chocolate Cookie. Oh yum.
1 cup natural peanut butter + 3/4 cup agave* + 1 egg + 1 tsp. baking soda + 1 cup chocolate chips
Mix everything together | 325 degrees | 7-9 minutes
*Substitue agave for 1 cup white sugar, if you please!
I make these whenever baking duty calls and I find myself in a time crunch (seriously, these whip up fast). They’re also a safe go-to for everybody’s sweet tooth, as they’re gluten and refined-sugar-free.
Cheers to real good food and until next week – indulge, share, and enjoy!

I'm totally trying these today! Thanks for sharing. Can't wait to read next Friday's post.
You bet, Katie! Thanks for asking about some food tips – you inspired me!
so trying this! also, beautiful photographs!
If my photos could EVER be as beautiful as yours, I'd be in heaven 🙂 xoxo
