A FAMILY NIGHT LESSON FOR THE SMALL SEED: OBEDIENCE IS WINGS TO FLY!

Monday, October 17, 2016
Part of my free time finds me helping over at the The Small Seed - a website about learning and growing your faith in God - and your loved ones' faith, too. Our theme for the month of October has been all things "Obedience," and I came up with a short, easy Family Night lesson ("Family Night" is an evening set aside for teaching important life lessons, faith, and values) on the subject for you to share with your crew!

To be as helpful as possible, I wrote it in a way so that you can literally READ the post to give the lesson, and it will make sense - no filling in blanks or any extra work on your end. Also, I wrote the text with couples without children and families with teenagers in mind. Obedience is just such universal topic - we all need to learn about it - and since it's easier to chop content then add it, my hope is that those of you with tiny families like mine will pick and choose the content that fits your littles best and leave out the rest. IE, I taught the lesson to our whole crew of kids at the beach house last week, and I simply introduced the topic, we watched the YouTube clip, and then we chatted about following rules + flying - I didn't read or discuss the scriptures. Go read the lesson HERE and that will make sense!

XOXO
