…we patroned the Lighting of Riverwoods on Friday – a Christmasy shindig in November (gasp)! This new-ish Provo event has snowballed into something oh so popular, and really, quite spectacular. And what if we’re not around next year?? So sorry, Novemer, we had to go!
The fireworks blasted into the sky, just as the trees around us burst into glowing life. The night went from dark to light in the most awesome flash (light is amazing)! Olivia was not in love with the fireworks…
Olivia was in love with whacking Ryan with her souvenier. One-year-old affection – strange, at times, but true.
The crowd! The energy! You know when something just feels fun? That was this event. The open storefronts, hot cocoa kiosks, the lights and music – I fell for all of it. Who knows, maybe we’ll stay here for law school and can attend next year, but just in case – we’re soaking it up this little city and what it offers. It is a good one. November Christmas lights and all.
