Pic via: the kitchen floor during one of the coloring sessions this week (look closely – you’ll see how dirty the floor was, lucky you 😉)! It’s one of the perfect places/situations for my scripture study. Not for comfort’s sake, but for efficacy and efficiency, yes 👍: they are captivated by their work, so I pray and ponder and talk my thoughts out freely.

“Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.
“And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked.”
Christ is so powerful. In a culture/time when I really can’t see much of Him – literally – it’s so good to read this and spiritually see and believe something that brings so much comfort and confidence: He can heal not just quickly, but immediately, and perfectly when that needs to be our story.
That said, I wish healing from some of my insecurities/weaknesses could come as quickly as the lame man’s here. It seems like I’m fighting so hard for healing to come in a few ways — and you know, it’s okay. It’s okay to learn how to work for something. “Strength and struggle travel together. The pursuit of easy things makes me weak” In a moment like this man’s here, what a beautiful, perfect situation to be healed immediately. And then in most other cases, what a blessing it is to learn to work with Him and see His power come to pass as I try try try.
