 Haaappy Halloween!

I've got about 0.2 seconds to write this post, but I'm going for it, because if I don't, these little witches might stay on my camera roll for an entire YEAR like last year's Halloween photos (see below). I of course thought that I'd share last year's Halloween Day right away, but I guess life happened? ๐Ÿ˜‚ Life's going to happen again reaaal quick, so I'm just going to share this year's photos and stories now. Bear with the quick writing!

The big girls both wanted to be witches this year. We had great visions of dolling them up to be pretty + spooky witches, and thanks to their own awesome makeup jobs (they really did their own!) and their wonky fake eyelashes (they only let me keep them on if they were about an inch up their eyelid, haha), I think we nailed it. ๐Ÿ˜ Thanks to Aunt Annie for sending the girls her awesome witch costumes (Annie has the best Halloween loot)!

Perfect little witchy scowl...
Little Miss Emmy was a cute little bat. ๐ŸŽƒ
Sis was in the spirit and gave me a good growl here. :)
My little spooks!
I donned a witch's cape so that I could fit in with those beauties, and we stole a couple a big camera selfies (these were all shot on Saturday before our ward's Trunk or Treat and Ry was still knee-deep in work)!
We're about to get into this get-up again -- trick-or-treating starts in a couple hours! ๐ŸŽ‰ The rest of the photos are from our Halloween last year, especially our Halloween Feast. We're doing dinner at a friend's this year, but I'll be more on my game next year and throw this shindig together again. We loved it!

Our BFF's, the Gavins, came for the Feast. I've said this before, but they've been with us since our Virginia days -- we ended up in the same neighborhood here in San Diego and we thank our lucky stars every day that we did!
Last year's costumes: another witch (this wig, cape, and hat were MY witch Halloween costume from when I was little!), a cute baby (no costume needed for that pumpkin), and a pink fairy. Can't believe how much my girls have grown. We'll see how everyone changes by NEXT Halloween! ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ
