SWEET IS THE WORD! OUSTING YOUR DEVILS + DEMONS VIA LUKE 4:33-35

Pic via: my bed one early morning, pre-wake up time for the girls (I brightened up the pic a lot, hence its fuzziness). I woke up a few mornings this week and turned right to the good word, via the Light the World campaign. My studies each day have primarily come from its content and I have loved them. They're solely focused on my Savior, Jesus Christ, and what's better than that kind of kickstart to each day than Him?
Entry from Tuesday, December 6
Luke 4:33-35
"And in the synagogue, there was a man, which had a spirit of an unclean devil, and cried out with a loud voice,

"Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of God.

"And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. And when the devil had thrown him in the midst, he came out of him, and hurt him not."

I love how the Savior speaks jut a few words and the devil is gone. It could not stand to be near Him.

This teaches me so much. So long as Christ is with me, the adversary and his minions - any demon he may try to throw in my life - they cannot be. I believe that. They cannot "throw you in the midst" and hurt you, or cause you to hurt yourself or others. Christ is "Jesus of Nazareth...the Holy One of God" (verse 34), and Satan and all of his sad helpers know that - and they cannot stand that.

So - so long as I ask for + live in a way for Christ to be with me - none of them can be.
