Pic via: the living room floor. I staged + snapped the pic below this AM (I forgot to snap one in the moment!) but this was indeed my study scene a few times this week: cars, trains, and planes via the hands of my little girls. We're subletting from a family with one boy, so we've had an entirely new toy experience this summer. It's been great for us nail-painting, princess-pretending, doll-doting gals over here. :)
Entry from Friday, June 24
(First, from True to the Faith on Humility)..."Jesus Christ is our greatest example of humility. During His mortal ministry, He always acknowledged that His strength came because of His dependance on His Father."

John 5:30
"I can of mine own self do nothing..."

Knowing that Christ could have done anything, His statement here is so profound. He really did voice that He needed His Father, and that if He did anything in life, it was because of the strength His Father gave Him.

How can I better do the same? I want to know. I need to know! From experiences (both good and bad), I know that humility is the avenue to greater power over your thoughts, feelings, communication, talents, time - all the things that actually make you peaceful, happy, and thus successful. From experiences (both good and awful), pride in all of its forms does not help you succeed. Christ is my example here: He was humble, He is great. His humility allowed Him to become the most perfect (meaning exalted) version of Himself. I want so so so so deeply to be the same + to do the same.
