Pic via: the bathroom floor. I studied aloud there once this week while the girls took an early morning bath. I like to study as soon as I can in the morning, so I take what I can get. :)
Entry from Friday, April 1 (no joke :) )
3 Nephi 22:10
"For the mountains shall depart and the hills shall be removed, but my kindness shall not depart from thee."

I just realized why the analogy of mountains departing and hills moving is such a powerful one here: hills and mountains, especially, seem unmovable and unchanging, but even they will go away before Christ's kindness will. Nothing is as constant, reliable, sturdy and strong as Jesus Christ.

That is so moving to me (talking about things being unchanging :) ). I can see how dependable and real Christ's unfailing kindness is -- I picture my Utah mountains and, yes, they seem absolutely set. But it's true that they can change. Circumstances can change them. But circumstances cannot and will not change my Savior's love for me.

I'm so grateful to know that. All else can change, but he won't. He won't leave me. I stand all amazed!

  1. Have you heard the song about this scripture? Here's a link to my fave rendition:

Love it! And love YOU! 😀

  2. Okay that rendition is beautiful. Wowowow. Thank you for sharing that one, because yes, I've heard the song but not THAT song!

Love you right back, sister. I miss you!!
