These two scriptures often skip through my head. Just like Olivia will stop when running around, find me, and say "Hi, I'm here mama!" - these few words often run in and out of my head, reminding me that they're here, too.

"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."

Those words have soothed me after being hurt by others, after feeling physical pain, and after feeling loss. Right now, however, they're helping me know which "to-do" to tackle on my long list, aka what choice to make. Amazing how scripture morphs to meet your needs - from the smallest to the biggest of them.

One of those to-do's - now tackled - were Christmas cards. Yayy! I really like giving and receiving Chrsitmas cards. They're a little present for those people that you love but rarely ever see. This year I tried my hand at letterpress (which is hard to tell in this pic)...and oh my. I was warned this art is addictive. Can't wait for more of it to happen 'round here in 2014 (can I really say that?)!
