MY THANKS FOR WRITING + A GIVEAWAY! CLOSED

Tuesday, November 26, 2013
Meet my journals since 2011. I love to write. Pocahontas paints with the colors of the wind to feel alive, and I write.

My journal writing started in 2007 - I was entirely inspired by this man's example. My journals hold my fears, and inbetween their lines, they herald my faith. My old self often teaches me best about what I know, who I am, and what I can do. Journal writing has definitely molded me. I am thankful for my journals.

Intro blogging. I love writing here! Blogging has opened unexpected doors for me, like my job (that I adore) and wonderful collaborations. It's opened my world to awesome people! Best yet, with its words and photos, this venture is the most precious record for my family. I am thankful for my blog.

In honor of writing and thanks and giving, I've teamed up with atly to give away one of their upgraded classes (the class will include instructor feedback)! atly is the online classroom to "learn, improve, and inspire" - its motto exactly. I learned immensely how to improve as a writer - and a blogger - via Better Writing in 6 Steps by Polly Scott. I treasure what Polly taught me one-on-one. And how awesome is it that atly's class' content can be accessed for life?? A perk of atly's program that I am also thankful for.

To enter, explore atly's classes here, and comment back on this post telling me what class you'd take (please leave your email)! The winner will be chosen on Friday (*note that the Justin Hackworth teaches a class on portrait photgraphy, and that the Carrian Cheney teaches about cooking basics...such incredible instructors).

Cheers to thanks and giving. Cheers to writing. I love it.

  4. I would take the 6 steps to better writing class because I have always loved writing too! I've taken several creative writing classes in college, got published in a college creative writing journal, and been keeping a blog since 2006. I know that I have got sooo much more to learn and improve on! Would definitely benefit from learning from a great teacher!

  8. Split decision between the photography or writing, but that clean and natural home is also luring me in! Can't decide. One things for sure, you need to be the next professor on atly!
